**** "The Torturer's Shadow" has captured the attention of readers with its thrilling premise and engaging story. Many customers express a deep excitement just from reading the topic, suggesting an intense emotional connection to the narrative from the outset. Several reviews highlight the book's ability to absorb the reader immediately, with some even rushing to order the sequels right after finishing it. The complex themes within the story, such as love, loyalty, and betrayal, resonate strongly, providing depth to the protagonist's journey as a young apprentice torturer faced with moral dilemmas. However, the reception of the book is not without criticism. Some readers have pointed out issues with the pacing of the story, mentioning that it feels disjointed at times, which may detract from the overall experience. Furthermore, comments on the quality of the translation reveal a divide in customer satisfaction, with certain readers finding the language and sentence structure—particularly the presence of old Turkish terms and awkward Constructions—unpleasant and difficult to navigate. This suggests that while the narrative may be compelling, some readers might struggle to fully appreciate it due to translation flaws. Overall, "The Torturer's Shadow" has a mixture of enthusiastic readers eager to dive into its universe, balanced by critiques regarding its execution and presentation. **
