Poolmaster Pool & Deck Repair Products Editorial Review
### Editorial Review The pool patching kit has garnered a range of opinions from users, embodying a mix of satisfaction and frustration. Many customers were pleasantly surprised by the product's effectiveness, particularly highlighting its ease of use. The most recurrent praises centered on the fact that the patches can be applied underwater, sparing users the hassle of draining their pools—a significant advantage for maintaining a seamless swimming experience. Those who successfully applied the patch reported that it held up well throughout the season, effectively sealing leaks caused by various sources of damage, including twigs and small punctures. Users appreciated the simple application process: the adhesive can be easily spread on the patch, and with proper technique, the product can create a strong bond even when conditions are less than ideal. However, not all experiences were positive. A segment of users faced challenges during application, particularly when placing patches at the bottom of their pools. Difficulties arose from the need to fold patches for underwater application, which some found cumbersome, leading to unsuccessful bonds and requiring multiple attempts to ensure a reliable seal. A few customers expressed dissatisfaction, noting that despite following instructions, the adhesive struggled against water pressure, resulting in failures. The product's design—a clear material—was commended for maintaining the visual aesthetics of the pool. Still, users noted that the patches may retain a "memory" from being rolled, complicating the application process further. Overall, this pool patch kit appears to be a reliable option for tackling minor leaks and maintaining pool integrity, but success may depend on the user's familiarity with the application method and the specific circumstances of their pool's damage. ### Pros and Cons **
