Detalles de producto
- When you think of things that might kill you or change your life forever, you usually think of wars, fires, floods, or even sickness. You do not think of everyday things you have always taken for granted, the dependable things that have always been part of your life. This is a story of one of those basic things going away and the terrible aftermath that changed everyone's life and the life of the country itself maybe forever. Huddle in the Wind is a story of the electric grid across the continental United States going down. Not for a few hours or days but for 199 days. How well would your family cope in this situation? This book is fiction, but this man-made storm is not out of the realm of possibility. Stories Places Random Thoughts is a collection of short stories about love and betrayal, harsh lessons of life and dogs; stories about places in our lives like zoos, barns, parks and ball diamonds; and random thoughts of inspiration and observations of life.
