Drama Editorial Review

"Submission" is a movie that features Stanley Tucci as a failing novelist who teaches creative writing at a small New England college. The plot revolves around a student who tries to advance her literary career by falsely claiming sexual misconduct perpetrated by the professor, thereby positioning herself for literary agent Consideration. Though Tucci's performance is solid and he carries most of the weight in the movie, the script let's the overall story down. Despite this, "Submission" provides plenty of intrigue and mystery before things come to an underwhelming end.
