The top side is solid black and smooth, which shouldn't inhibit plank expansion. Customers generally found the product easy to use and good value for money with fast shipping. However, some customers experienced issues with the tape warping, peeling off, and struggling to adhere to the wood. Some even used a heat gun to improve adhesion but found it was still not satisfactory. One customer had to staple the tape down, which was time-Consuming, and they wouldn't buy the product again. Despite mixed reviews, some customers saw great results and praised the tape's strength, adhesive, and how it prevented rot and dirt build-up.
