The audio plug is a standard 3.5mm stereo and the cord is 8ft long. The headset has a more sensitive mic than most audio plug in headsets and a small sound-conveying speaker. It works well with Windows 8, provided that it is plugged into the USB port before the program starts. It does not fold to become compact.
