Aulos Recorders 511 Editorial Review

The Aulos 511 Symphony Tenor Recorder is a well-made, affordable instrument with a warm and resonant tone. While it may take some time to get used to the finger positions, the overall playing experience is enjoyable. The lower register is particularly lovely, although the higher notes may require more practice to master. There is a learning curve to fully utilize all the finger positions, especially for those transitioning from other instruments. The recorder is made of high-quality materials and has a clear sound, although it may not match the quality of a high-end wooden instrument. One slight drawback is that it requires frequent clearing to prevent a build-up of condensation. Overall, this is a great option for those looking for a decent tenor recorder at an affordable price.
