Fantasy Editorial Review
Gwelf: The Survival Guide is a beautifully illustrated hardcover book that takes you on a journey through a thoughtfully created fantasy world. The book is full of imaginative ideas and warmth, which is missing in many fantasy adventure books. It's not just a book, it's an escape from the mundane. The author and illustrator Larry MacDougall has done a fantastic job in creating a rich and inviting fantasy world, filled with lore and local customs as described by Gwelf's inhabitants. The book is peppered with unexpected adventure ideas and magic that is studied and practiced in interesting ways. The book is an excellent resource for those who love reading and playing tabletop RPGs, especially 5e. It's colorful and fun, making it an ideal way to introduce young readers to the RPG world.
