PNW Components Grips Editorial Review
** PNW Components Loam Grip** The PNW Components Loam Grip has garnered a decidedly positive reception among cycling enthusiasts, particularly for those who prioritize comfort and grip during lengthy rides. Users have commented on the immediate noticeable difference provided by this grip—offering a fatter profile compared to standard options, effectively alleviating issues like tingling and numbness often experienced during extended use. Its rubber compound is particularly lauded, providing excellent traction whether cycling barehanded or with gloves, ensuring a secure connection to the handlebars even under sweaty conditions. Beyond comfort, the aesthetic appeal of the Loam Grip has not gone unnoticed. Many customers appreciate the variety of colors available and the overall sleek design. Installation has been described as a breeze, with straightforward locking mechanisms that allow for a perfect fit. While feedback is overwhelmingly positive, a couple of points of contention arise. Users have expressed the desire for protective end caps to enhance durability, given that occasional bumps in transport can potentially lead to premature wear. Additionally, there’s a notable design quirk: the grip does not slide on as far as factory options, resulting in a slight spacing difference between the grips and the levers. However, this discrepancy has not been deemed significant enough to affect overall ride handling. In conclusion, the PNW Components Loam Grip is a must-try for those seeking an upgrade in comfort and control, effectively balancing quality and style at a reasonable price point. **
