Humble Games Games 812303017285 Editorial Review

**Editorial Review of Dodgeball Academia** Dodgeball Academia presents a vibrant and unique blend of RPG mechanics and dodgeball action, showcasing a charming art style that combines 3D environments with 2D sprites. The game allows players to navigate a colorful campus filled with quirky characters, engaging storylines, and enjoyable dodgeball mechanics, making it a refreshing option for those craving a shorter gaming experience, particularly after delving into more extensive RPGs. Players are welcomed into a whimsical world where they take on the role of a rookie dodgeball player, tasked with assembling a team of teammates, each equipped with distinct abilities and attributes. This adds a layer of strategy to the fast-paced dodgeball matches that typically last only a few minutes, keeping the gameplay concise and dynamic. The character interactions are highlighted by witty dialogue and delightful humor, enhancing the game's storytelling and immersion. A significant strength of Dodgeball Academia is its ability to maintain variety throughout its gameplay. New content, challenges, and mechanics are introduced Consistently, ensuring that the dodgeball matches never become monotonous. The game incorporates RPG elements—leveling up characters, equipping items for perks, and managing team dynamics through food preferences—that enrich the gameplay experience. Though the game features a robust single-player campaign with 8 chapters and side quests, potential players should be aware that it leans heavily into dialogue, which may not appeal to everyone. However, the clever writing and engaging subplots, including humorous nods to popular culture, keep the experience lively. Overall, Dodgeball Academia is deemed a hidden gem that successfully combines engaging storytelling with enjoyable mechanics. Whether you're a fan of RPGs, dodgeball, or simply looking for a captivating indie game, it’s worth Considering adding this title to your collection. **
