Pelican 20QT Dark Grey/Green ELITE COOLER
The Pelican 20QT Dark GreyGreen Elite Cooler has drawn a mixed reception from customers, reflecting both strong endorsements and significant criticisms. Those who have had positive experiences highlight the cooler's impressive insulation capabilities, especially under extreme Texas heat. Many users report that it effectively keeps ice and beverages cold for several days, with some saying it can maintain cold temperatures for up to a week when not exposed to direct sunlight. The design, which is taller and more narrow than some competitors, is appreciated for its ability to fit in smaller spaces, making it a versatile option for grocery shopping, beach outings, or work events. Customers cite the cooler's sturdy build and comfortable carrying handle as additional advantages. However, frustrations arise from some users who feel that the cooler did not live up to its advertised performance. Complaints regarding ice retention indicate variability in performance, with a few asserting that it failed to keep ice for even a day, and claimed alternatives like cheaper Igloo coolers outperformed it. Moreover, the cooler's capacity appears to be diminished by its thick insulating walls, leading some to expect more space than is available. In conclusion, while the Pelican 20QT cooler is praised for its reliability and Construction, it also faces criticism about its ice retention ability and overall capacity relative to its cost. Buyers should weigh these factors based on their specific needs and how they plan to use the cooler. **
