Skyjacker Stabilizers 8003 Editorial Review
The Skyjacker 8003 Steering Stabilizer presents a mix of customer experiences, primarily revolving around its performance and installation process. Many users reported significant improvements in their vehicles' steering and handling. The product is praised for its easy installation, often taking as little as 30 minutes, which is a major plus for those who prefer DIY solutions. Those who installed the stabilizer on their Jeeps noted a marked enhancement in steering feel, effectively reducing the shimmy and instability that sometimes accompany uneven road conditions. However, not all feedback has been positive. One customer experienced a significant problem with the steering stabilizer causing a "death wobble" in their Jeep, prompting them to revert to their original factory stabilizer—a serious concern for anyone Considering the product. Additionally, some dissatisfaction was noted regarding the rubber boot that covers the stabilizer, which seemed to be too short as it repeatedly detached from the stabilizer, leading to further frustration. Overall, while the Skyjacker 8003 Steering Stabilizer stands out for its installation simplicity and performance improvements, potential buyers should be cautious about the reported issues relating to the rubber boot and the possibility of adverse effects on handling. **
