Expert Performance Indexing in SQL Server 2019: Toward Faster Results and Lower Maintenance 3rd ed. Edition is a book that offers high-level concepts and analogies that give insight on real-world examples. The author does a great job of leaving the reader with a good understanding of WHY/how. However, the book has issues with editing as there are grammatical errors, formatting errors, and the text quality is poor in some places. This issue with editing makes it hard to follow and takes away from the overall experience of the book. There are also some errors in the content which make it hard to be absolutely sure about all the figures. Despite these issues, the book has good content and utility to a real-world DBA.
