Nutritionist's Take

Prescript-Assist with added pea protein is marketed as a dietary supplement that supports gut health through its combination of probiotics and prebiotics. Nutritionists appreciate the inclusion of diverse probiotic strains, which can positively influence the gut microbiome. The added pea protein offers a plant-based protein source, beneficial for vegans and those looking to increase their protein intake without animal products. However, it's essential to note that while the product claims to support digestive health, robust clinical studies backing these claims specifically for this formula may be limited. Some consumers might experience digestive discomfort due to the probiotic content, particularly those unaccustomed to such supplements. Overall, while it can be a healthy choice for specific dietary needs, it's advisable for consumers to evaluate their individual health goals and consult with a healthcare provider before beginning any new supplement regimen.

Prescript-Assist Pea Editorial Review

Prescript-Assist is a probiotic supplement that is believed to contribute to excellent health when combined with a healthy diet. However, some customers find it expensive for what they get. It is praised for its trustworthy ingredients label and its benefits to gut health. There are concerns about the product containing lead and aluminum in significant quantities, as well as reports of a new formula not being as effective. It is also noted that the product now contains pea protein, which may be a concern for those with allergies or sensitivity to it.
