Comedy Editorial Review
**** "Yesterday" presents an imaginative and engaging narrative that captivates audiences by exploring the idea of a world devoid of The Beatles' influence, with only one aspiring musician, Jack Malik, remaining aware of their iconic music. Himesh Patel's portrayal of Jack showcases his impressive abilities both as an actor and a singer, impressively bringing the Beatles' timeless hits to a contemporary audience. The film strikes a balance between entertainment and nostalgia, making it a delightful watch, even for those who may not be ardent Beatles fans. Its light-hearted and fun premise, set against the backdrop of a cosmic event that wipes the memory of the Beatles from everyone but Jack, allows viewers to escape into a whimsical world where the music reigns supreme. Despite its flaws, such as a somewhat predictable storyline and critiques regarding the plausibility of its premise, the film's charming execution and excellent musical performances leave a lasting impression. Many viewers appreciate the stellar acting, engaging narrative, and, of course, the soundtrack that encapsulates the essence of The Beatles. Overall, "Yesterday" garners a favorable reception, celebrated for its unique concept and the joyous resurgence of classic tunes, making it a noteworthy pick for both music lovers and casual moviegoers alike. **
