PORTER-CABLE Jig Accessories 42234 Editorial Review
This corner chisel is an effective tool for cutting out rounded corners in door hinges or after using a router and template guide for door hinges. It has a self-aligning feature that makes sure the chisel is perfectly aligned in the corner. It makes cuts approximately three sixteenths of an inch deep. The chisel works well on hardwood, and some users have honed the edge for even crisper corners. However, the spring tension is tight and requires a strong strike with a hammer. The chisel is about 3/8" square, and the body is about an inch square. Reviews are mixed, with some users finding the tool to be durable and useful, while others complain that the cutter is dull and difficult to sharpen.
