Novation MIDI Controllers AMS-LAUNCHKEY-49 Editorial Review
Novation Launchkey 49, 49-key USB/iOS MIDI Keyboard Controller with Synth-weighted Keys offers fantastic DAW integration, notably through its InControl functionality, which allows for automatic mapping of knobs and faders to tracks in Cubase 8. Users appreciate the consistent key response and the lightweight, compact design that enhances both studio and live performance experiences. The integrated drum pads illuminate upon touch, adding visual feedback, while the build quality minimizes noise, making it a joy to play. Despite some minor integration issues with certain DAWs and the lack of a dedicated power switch, it remains a recommended choice for aspiring music producers looking for versatility in their setups.
