ICC Center Punches ICC-ICACSPDT4P Editorial Review
** ICC 110 Punch Down Tool** The ICC 110 Punch Down Tool is designed for professionals and enthusiasts engaged in 4-pair cable terminations, especially within rack mount panels. Users express mixed sentiments regarding its performance. On one hand, many reviewers appreciate the tool's ergonomic design and high-impact materials, which contribute to a comfortable grip during extended use. They often mention that it makes the process of punching down wires easier, particularly in setups involving rear mount cable management trays. However, there are significant concerns regarding its effectiveness. Some customers report that the tool fails to properly seat the wires in the 110 blocks, leading to issues such as incorrect wire mapping and NEXT errors. This has forced some to revisit and redo their work—an inconvenient setback in any job. These users have also voiced dissatisfaction with customer service, particularly in response to requests for refunds or exchanges when confronted with performance issues. In terms of functionality, while the tool is praised for saving time and doing a decent job of pressing the cables, there are complaints about the inability to adjust the blade for perfect cable cutting. This inConsistency adds to the frustration for users needing precise terminations. Ultimately, those Considering the ICC 110 may wish to weigh its affordability and ergonomic design against the potential downsides in performance that some users have experienced. **
