Rode Multipurpose Editorial Review
The Rode VideoMic Me-L Directional Microphone Bundle with Custom Windbuster is receiving negative reviews from customers, with complaints of distortion, buzzing sounds and no improvement in sound quality. One reviewer stated that the microphone actually made their video worthless, completely counteracting the iPhone’s limiting capabilities. Another customer had difficulty with buzzing sounds during recording, and testing the microphone with a backup revealed the same problem. The microphone bundle was also used by a customer during a recording session for a banjo master, but the resulting material was fuzzy, distorted and unusable. While the Rode VideoMic Me-L may appear to be similar to smaller microphones, it has received negative reviews and is not recommended.
