Yes, our LED strip is soft and flexible and can be bent 90 degrees.

Lights are non-stop flickering, is there a way to reset them or are they likely to be faulty?

Does the flickering stop if you dim them to the lowest? If so, they are flickering because your source of USB power does not supply enough current. They need 1.5A to 2A to be happy at full brightness. A PC/Laptop USB port only provides 0.5A. Many phone chargers only supply 1A.

What's the lumen for a 2m length?

I am running this strip of LEDs off a 5v/2A USB power pack. However, on the brighter settings, the power pack and LEDs both turn off. Any tips?

I am running my LED strip off 5volt/2amp USB power pack and it all works fine. Initially, I tried using the TV USB output and experienced flickering lights. I concluded the TV could not deliver enough current. The spec for these LEDs states 10Watts power consumption which equates to 5Volts at 2Amps. So can I respectfully suggest that you inspect your power pack to check that it is 2Amps and not 0.2 Amps, i.e., 200 milliamps.

Can I plug this straight into a wall socket with a USB plug?

Yes, as long as the USB socket you use can deliver sufficient current, 2.0 amps should be fine. Some USB adapters with less current output may cause the LED strip to flicker, but a wall socket with USB should be fine.

Is this connectable? Could I cut into 5x shorter lengths for a bookcase unit? Putting a connector cable between each shelf?

Yes, you can. I cut mine into three pieces to suit the back of my TV, but be sure to cut the LED strip in the correct place, i.e., where the line runs through the little copper strip. Cutting points are about 12mm apart.

Since its power source is the TV's USB, can it only be on when the TV is powered on? Or will it stay on even when the TV is off?
