This adapter works with 3-pin fans only and has a 4-pin pass-through type connector that has both male and female connections. Customers have found it to be an excellent sub in place of Noctua or a great product for 3-4 pin adaptation. One customer was expecting a 3/4-pin fan adapter cable, but this adapter didn't fit their needs.
